Corrections, questions about the site, or a surah you would like to see written about next — all welcome.
Corrections come first
If something on this site is wrong, that is the message most worth sending. The Qur’anic text is reproduced mechanically from a published source and should never differ from a printed edition — if it does, something has gone wrong and we want to know immediately.
The introductions are a different matter. They make claims about chronology, about how classical commentators read a passage, and about what is disputed. If one of them states something as settled that is not settled, or attributes a view to the tradition that the tradition does not hold, please say so. Point to the surah and the sentence. Corrections are made on the page itself rather than quietly.
What else is worth writing about
- A surah you want next. The introductions are being written over time and the order is not fixed.
- Something you could not find. If the site made a simple thing hard, that is a fault in the site.
- Broken links, display problems, Arabic that renders badly on your device or browser.
- Permission requests to reproduce an introduction elsewhere.
What this address cannot do
It cannot answer religious questions. Not out of reluctance — this site has no standing to issue rulings, and a considered answer to a question about practice requires a qualified scholar who can ask you follow-up questions and know your circumstances. An email cannot do that, and an answer written without it could do harm.
If you have a question about what is obligatory, permitted or correct, ask someone qualified in your own community. That is not a brush-off; it is the only honest answer.
Privacy
Writing to us means we have your email address and whatever you put in the message. It is used to reply to you and nothing else — no list, no sharing, no analytics. See the privacy policy for the full picture, which is short.
